Rita is a sorrel colored Paso Fino cross mare, and does not jump out of the crowd at first glance, but she is a quiet powerhouse and fierce soldier of the band. Part of the inner circle of the main herd, one of the primary sentries of Molly, the herd leader, Rita can usually be found near her side. On Rita's other side is often her half sister Kee. Born a few weeks apart, the sisters are in their late teens and have been together for life. They squabble as sisters will but would not want to be separated, and here at The Sanctuary, they never will be.
