Sweet and beautiful, Kee is part of the inner circle of the main herd, and can usually be found near her sister Rita, or her beau Whisper, a beautiful white Mustang that she has been with for a decade now at The Sanctuary. In their late teens, she and Rita were born a few weeks apart, and they have been together for life. They squabble as sisters will but do not want to be separated, and here at The Sanctuary, they never will be.
Kee had an accident with a fence, suffering a terrible rear leg injury. She was nursed back to health over several months in the medical wing, and had the company of Rita and a few others. Training is vital even for horses that are expected to remain for life at The Sanctuary, in order to be able to provide quality care. Although now not sound for riding, she is fine for turnout, and is happy to be back with the herd that she loves.
