HUDSON
“Did a horse just run by?”
Hudson is a shy, black and white pinto horse, likely Quarter Horse stock. He was surrendered to The Sanctuary by a family that promised he was trained, 'just needs some work'. One must take their comments with a grain of salt and a sense of humor, because Hudson does NOT want to be touched! It is not clear what happened in his past, but it's critical to evaluate and accept “the horse in front of you”, and this is Hudson.
He began his rehab at a professional trainer’s farm, and while there he bonded with some gentle geldings who watched out for him. While Hudson has come around, he has also come to rely on those he is with, and as he is not adoptable at all, Rosemary Farm has continued to support him where he currently lives. Rosemary Farm welcomes horses and protects them for life, and sometimes that takes a different form. For Hudson, it means allowing him the space to be a horse on his own terms.
Are you up for the challenge? Sponsor Hudson today to support his life on his terms – we promise it will be worth it!
