GEMMA
“The (Mini) Brains”
What a smart, smart little mare Gemma is! And so tiny, Gemma is the smallest horse at Rosemary Farm! She enjoys grooming with Snow ( either her sister or daughter) and gets dedicated time in a private stall, where she receives special food to keep her healthy. Gemma is a senior and has some complex issues, but gets plenty of TLC.
Both Gemma and Snow were surrendered on Christmas Eve, 2020 with a larger group of horses, after their owner died. It was a difficult save, because they suffered from severe, long term neglect, so everyone is delighted that they look good today (read story here).
Gemma is a permanent resident, and is taking night classes towards her philosophy degree (or so we imagine!). This little girl would love a dedicated — is its you? Sponsor or Staydopt Gemma today!
