CELESTE

“Me, Me, Me!”

Celeste arrived at Rosemary Farm alongside Astrid, in partnership with the Warwick Valley Humane Society, part of a 6-horse emergency pull. Celeste is about 10 years old and 15.1 hh. A beautiful black and white mare, she has shown herself to be energetic, intelligent, and likes to be the center of attention. Celeste has been finding her way since arriving, letting go of baggage and connecting with both humans and horses, trying out different friendships, and settling into a rhythm. She is close to Molly now, part of the ‘inner circle’ that keeps near the lead mare, quite an honor for a new arrival.

Celeste has been re-started with Rosemary Farm trainer Dan McCarthy (Catskill Natural Horse). She has a lot of fear associated with equipment and riding, and has been making progress. The hope is for this lovely mare to find a family of her own as she craves attention and would bond deeply with a dedicated, skilled person.
