WILBUR

“Napoleon”

The wee Wilbur, son to Charlotte, was rescued along with his mom and uncle Andy in Spring 2021, after being found roaming loose by the NYS police in a state of clear neglect. Both Wilbur and Charlotte had severely overgrown hooves that made it nearly impossible for them to walk. This little family were tightly bonded with each other, but they have made additional friends at the Sanctuary and are now rarely together.

Wilbur is currently smitten with another wee pony, Audrey, who joined Rosemary Farm as part of a Camp Horse rescue several years back. Not quite ponies, not quite minis, these two are just the right size for each other! He spends most of his time with her and Moonshadow, as part of the main herd.

He may be the smallest player on the field, but he’ll play his heart out – Sponsor Wilbur today!

Wilbur is:

• a tri-color paint pony gelding
• welcomed to The Sanctuary in May 2021
• a member of Molly & Finn’s herd
• son of Charlotte
• in transition *
• fun fact; small but scrappy, can hold his own and gets along with everyone

* Any equine still under evaluation following arrival, in training, or changing in some way, is in transition. Please feel free to send an email to inquire about their status and future possibilities.
