REMY

“Our Golden Boy”

Remington, Remy, REM-cicle, The Remster, who celebrated his 11th Anniversary with Rosemary Farm Sanctuary in March 2021. Already old and worn down when he was found in the kill pens, he healed, blossomed, even went out twice on foster-to-adopt contracts, before settling in here, retired and enjoying his life and his family. A beautiful palomino, Remy often particpates in walkabouts, greeting guests at our PonyPalooza event.

This is rescue, the long quiet years of love given to a creature who never asked for the hard life they led, or asked to be dumped when his needs increased. Rescue is love in action, and sticking by friends. Rosemary Farm is so grateful to supporters that help make this possible, for forgotten horses like the Remster.

It is never too late to care – Sponsor or Staydopt Remy today!

Remy is:

• a palomino Quarter Horse gelding
• welcomed to The Sanctuary in March 2010, a member of the 10 Year Club
• co-leader of Violet’s Gang
• a permanent herd member, seeking Sponsorship or Staydoption™
• fun fact; often called ‘King of the Hangry Horses’ because of his attitude before meals
