Melinda has been following and supporting Rosemary Farm Sanctuary from its earliest days. Reading about Whisper’s arrival at the Sanctuary prompted Melinda to research wild horse management policies and inspired her to commit all of her 35 years of experience as a non-profit fundraising professional to making a difference for wild horses. Following a serendipitous visit to Rosemary Farm, it quickly became apparent that her non-profit skills and her passion for helping horses are a great match for the Sanctuary, and she joined the team in the summer of 2023 with responsibility for donor relationships and outreach. Prior to Rosemary Farm, Melinda was working with a wild horse sanctuary in South Dakota, and she continues to spend her personal time visiting and advocating for wild horse herds in the western states. Wild horse photography is her new hobby!
