ANDY
“The Serial Monogamist”
Andy arrived as part of a trio rounded up by NYS police after wandering loose on a major road. The full-sized horse in the bunch, he served as guardian for his two pony companions, Charlotte and Wilbur, who were both barely able to walk due to extreme “slipper feet”, otherwise known as painfully long curved hooves. Andy shies away from even the sight of a halter, perhaps some history and memories yet to be uncovered, but he is a gentleman at heart.
Horses make friends for many reasons, sometimes because they are in the same place in their journey from rescue to just being a horse. Andy has made several friends, including Moonshadow, a Mustang who arrived not long after he did. More recently spent time with the Spanish Barb Mares, showing them the ways of domesticated horses.
Andy has been a charming squire to many Rosemary Farm mares, but is a serial monogamist. The latest object of his affections is the Mustang mare Caitriona.
