This beautiful shaggy senior mare needed a soft place to land. She was overdue, in fact.
Saved from the same auction as Ella, just a few months later, Isabel bears a striking resemblance to her; both have the look of a draft cross, perhaps some percheron and friesian mixed up, for either strength or just convenience of the available stallion. Isabel cleared worked hard for her entire life, and was used up, suffering from what we soon confirmed was untreated cushings disease. After too long, her real care has begun here at Rosemary Farm, where she just arrived in July 2017, and we will not let her down.
