Visiting Rosemary Farm is a very special way to connect to the horses you come to know and love via our posts. Located about three hours drive from NYC, we believe it’s worth the trip! We are on the western edge of the Catskills, with many area activities to enjoy over a weekend, including outdoor hiking and skiing, antique stores, farmer’s markets, unique shopping, and the very special Hobart Book Village.
Summer, no worries, no appointment, Open Tours!
During the summer, Rosemary Farm has tours every other Saturday (the first and third Saturday of each month), at 10am and again at 2pm. These tours are for anyone interested in our work, with no appointment needed. Each tour is a guided tour lasting about 90 minutes, spent walking the farm and visiting with the horses. These tours are free and open to the public, with free-will donations towards our efforts graciously accepted.
Remaining 2016 Open Tour Dates include; (all on Saturdays)
August 6; 10am – 11:30 am, and 2pm – 3:30 pm
August 20; 10am – 11:30 am, and 2pm – 3:30 pm
September 3; 10am – 11:30 am, and 2pm – 3:30 pm
September 17; 10am – 11:30 am, and 2pm – 3:30 pm
Additional dates will be scheduled weather permitting. It’s gorgeous here in Autumn!
Some of our supporters find themselves in the area when it’s not Open Tour time and ask to visit. If you are a donor, we will make the time. If you are not a donor, we will try! Please do not show up unannounced, as this is also a private home. If you want to visit outside of our posted Open Tour times, just drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try and fit you in. Thanks for your interest in our horses!
